Where and when is the event?
The event at Vale of Rheidol Railway will be open to the public 9:00am – 4:30pm Saturday and Sunday, 12th and 13th October 2024.
How much is the traders fee for the event?
The traders fee is £80 for a traders space for the two day event, included in this price are the entrance fees for the Vale of Rheidol and parking fees. More details regarding park can be found further down the page.
As the event is taking place over two days, we expect traders to commit to both dates.

How do I reach Vale of Rheidol?
Follow the brown train signs as you come into Aberystwyth. The Vale of Rheidol Railway is on Park Avenue / Boulevard St Brieuc, close to the centre of Aberystwyth. There will be a person to guide you when you enter the car park area.
When do I need to be set-up prior to the event?
The car park has automatic car registration recognition, so you will need to register your vehicle with the organisers prior to the event or you will be charged for vehicle parking by the external parking company.
Set up for traders is open on the Friday afternoon between 2PM – 5PM. You will be directed to the access area at the end of the engine shed for unloading. This will include passing over a gated area to cross the railway track, please comply with the Vale of Rheidol staff for safety. Set up for traders on Saturday morning will be from 8:30am – 9:00am, ready for opening at 09:00am. The Vale of Rheidol have a reserved vehicle/campervan
parking area for traders. Details can be found below.
What are the parking arrangements?
Reserved parking is available for traders during the weekend. Vale of Rheidol have agreed to overnight stays within this reserved area for the Friday and Saturday night. Upon entry to the car park, your numberplate will be captured by the number plate recognition camera, to avoid charges over the weekend please provide Steampunk Wales with your vehicle registration number PRIOR to the event. For traders with hire vans, please provide the registration details as soon as possible. Failure to do so, will result in penalty charges from the car park monitoring company upon leaving the car park (unless the Pay and Display machine is used).
Where will my stall be based and when will I know?
Pitch spaces will be allocated on the day, your place is reserved within the engine shed.
Please ensure that you have all the relevant insurance up to date.
Stall Information
You will need to bring your own table/stall Trading are per stall is 10ft wide with ~6ft depth.
Strictly NO items are to be hung onto the railway locomotives/carriages/museum exhibits.
Derigging the stalls at the end of the event from 4:30pm on the Sunday.
